NEW GROWTH IS COMING YOUR WAY
TIMES OF REFRESHING ONLINE DAILY DEVOTIONAL www.thefountspring.org
DATE: FRIDAY, 19 MAY 2023
We all go through situations in life that we don’t understand. Maybe a mysterious and unexplainable sickness has befallen your loved one; no money, the business was downsizing. Or it could be you’re trusting God for a life partner. And you have prayed and fasted, yet the situations look so dump. It’s easy to get discouraged and depressed and give up on your dreams. But I have a great news for you; don’t give up! Hold on, a new growth is coming your way.
SCRIPTURE: …Weeping may last through the night, but joy comes with the morning. (Psalm 30:5 NLT)
REFRESHING FOR THE DAY: But, beloved, think of your situation like a seed. A seed can’t germinate in the open and comfortable place. As long as the seed stays up on a ridge, it will never become what it was created to be. You have to plant the seed in the soil, in the dark night place, so that what’s on the inside will come to life. In the same way, there are seeds in you: dreams and potential, that will only come to life in your night season. Yes, God doesn’t send the difficulties, but He could turn our shame into fame. In those night seasons are where we truly grow. That’s where our character and spiritual muscles are developed. So, let’s learn to be hopeful in every situation we found ourselves and know that a new growth is coming our way. Stay Refreshed!
NOTE THIS: There’s nothing God can’t do. Just stay in faith and He will come through for you.
RESPONSIBILITY: So, don’t quit believing. Even in your worst situation, new growth is coming your way.
PRAYER: O Lord, thank You for Your Word. My hope and trust are in You, and I believe that new growth is coming my way, in Jesus’ name, Amen!
PROPHETIC WORD: May the Lord wipe away your tears and give you joy for your mourning, in the name of Jesus’ Amen!
BIBLE TEXTS: Psalm 30:5
