So, another way God helps us make choices is through the leading of His Holy Spirit. Look at what Jesus said to His disciples in John 16:13;
SCRIPTURE: But when He, the Spirit of Truth, comes, He will guide you into all the truth [full and complete truth]. For He will not speak on His own initiative, but He will speak whatever He hears [from the Father—the message regarding the Son], and He will disclose to you what is to come [in the future]. (John 16:13 AMP)
REFRESHING FOR THE DAY: Beloved, the Holy Spirit wants to “guide you into all the truth.” And it’s not just about the big things. He wants to help guide you in every little detail of your life. This is how it works, when we encounter various situations in life that require God’s wisdom and direction, all we need to do is to ask the Holy Spirit to help and show us what to do, and remind us of what the Word of God says we do. We can trust Him to lead us and help us make the best choice possible without mistakes. Stay Refreshed!
NOTE THIS: Not everything that sounds good, feels good, and looks good is God’s best for us, we need the help and guidance of the Holy Spirit to make great choices in life.
RESPONSIBILITY: But you can’t trust the help of who you don’t know. So, as a matter of necessity, pray and seek genuine intimacy with the Holy Spirit.
PRAYER: O LORD, thank You for sending Your Holy Spirit to me. May He always teach me, and guide me to make right choices in life, in the name of Jesus’ Amen! (Go ahead and continue to pray)
PROPHETIC WORD: May the Holy Spirit fill you with a fresh power and grace to make great choices in life, in the name of Jesus’ Amen!
