MAKING THE BEST OUT OF LIFE (6)
TIMES OF REFRESHING ONLINE DAILY DEVOTIONAL www.thefountspring.org
DATE: SATURDAY, 14 MAY 2022
Sometimes, we think to make the best out of life is by doing too many things and, having our hands on all, but little did we know that life doesn’t work that way. We are not created to do everything; we are created to do something. But then, you will see people trying to engage in all things to make it in life. However, the truth of the matter is, it is more profitable and satisfying to do just something because of the meaning behind it, than doing too many things for the sake of doing them.
SCRIPTURE: Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with all your might… (Eccl 9:10 NIV)
REFRESHING FOR THE DAY: Again, beloved, the number of things we do is never a yardstick to guarantee making the best out of life, but doing that one significant thing at a time. Life is too short for us to have our hands on all things and yet we can’t achieve anything. So, it is better we purposely pick a thing, and do it for the meaning behind it, than to do all things for the sake of doing them or because others are doing them. Remember, what works for others may not work for you. So, choose wisely. Stay Refreshed!
NOTE THIS: The number of things we do is never a yardstick to guarantee making the best out of life, but doing that one significant thing at a time.
RESPONSIBILITY: So, ask God to help you and give you the grace to find and do great things that would change your life for good.
PRAYER: O LORD, give me the grace to find and do great things, while making the best out of life, in the name of Jesus’ Amen! (Go ahead and pray for other intentions as the Spirit leads)
PROPHETIC WORD: May God be with you to manifest all that concerns you and yours, in the name of Jesus’ Amen!
BIBLE TEXTS: Eccl 9:10
