MAKE GOD YOUR FIRST PRIORITY (3)
TIMES OF REFRESHING ONLINE DAILY DEVOTIONAL www.thefountspring.org
DATE: SATURDAY, 13 MAY 2023
Again, beloved, one other sure benefit of making God the first priority of our lives is that we will become whole and feel complete, satisfied and content. Yes, it’s true. When a person makes any other thing the priority of his life, failure, regrets, and disappointments are inevitable. For no matter what he does, he will never find satisfaction in it. But in Christ Jesus, the difference is obvious. Jesus is the Living Water and whoever drinks from Him will never thirst again (John 4:14). He is the bread of life, and whoever comes to Him will find sincere satisfaction (John 6:35).
SCRIPTURE: And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:19 ESV)
REFRESHING FOR THE DAY: So, dearly beloved, I know you can’t stand to miss all these wonderful benefits that abound when you make God the priority of your life. I promise you, this is just a few, when you sincerely seek God in your life and make Him the first priority in your life, you will surely declare and say, just like the Psalmist in chapter 16:11; “You make known to me the path of life; in your presence there is fullness of joy; at your right hand are pleasures forevermore.” Stay Refreshed!
NOTE THIS: When a person makes any other thing the priority of his life, failure, regrets, and disappointments are inevitable.
RESPONSIBILITY: So, ask God to help your life and give you the grace to always make Him the priority in your life.
PRAYER: O God, help my life. Give me the grace to always make you the first priority in my life, in Jesus’ name, Amen!
PROPHETIC WORD: As you make God your first priority in life, may you find joy and satisfaction in Him, in the name of Jesus’ Amen!
