LIVING IN THE POWER OF THE RESURRECTION (3)

TIMES OF REFRESHING ONLINE DAILY DEVOTIONAL www.thefountspring.org

DATE: WEDNESDAY, 3 APRIL 2024

Living in the power of resurrection means embracing new beginnings. Just as Jesus emerged from the tomb, radiant with new life, so too are we invited to experience the transformative power of resurrection in our own lives (Rom 8:1-2). In Christ, we find forgiveness for past mistakes (Ps 103:12), healing for wounded hearts (Ps 147:3), and the promise of new beginnings. The resurrection reminds us that our past does not define us; we are made new in Christ, free to embrace the abundant life He offers.

SCRIPTURE: “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!” — 2 Corinthians 5:17 (NIV)

REFRESHING FOR THE DAY: It suggest sharing the good news: As bearers of the resurrection hope, we are called to share the good news of Jesus Christ with the world (Mk 16:15). Our lives become living testimonies to the power of the resurrection, pointing others to the source of our hope and joy (Acts 1:8). Through our words and actions, we proclaim that Jesus is alive and that His love has the power to transform lives Matt 5:16). Stay Refreshed!

NOTE THIS: In Christ, we find forgiveness for past mistakes, healing for wounded hearts, and the promise of new beginnings.

RESPONSIBILITY: So, beloved, today, let us embrace the reality of the resurrection and live in its power.

PRAYER: Heavenly Father, as we stand on the threshold of new beginnings, we place our trust in You, knowing that Your plans for us are good and full of hope. Help us to embrace the abundant life that Christ offers, to walk in the freedom of His grace, and to live each day in joyful surrender to Your will. In the name of Jesus, we pray, Amen!

PROPHETIC WORD: May the reality of Christ’s resurrection fill us with courage, faith, and unwavering hope. Empower us to be bearers of His love and ambassadors of reconciliation in a world in need of His grace. In the name of Jesus, Amen!
