Often times we’re spinning the wheels of life so hard, exerting so much energy, yet we’re seemingly not getting anywhere on our own. To some, it has become so normal that they motivationally keep pushing and trying, but they are yet to understand that life doesn’t work that way. Life is not just about trying; it’s about grace and living by faith. When we try to live by ourselves, all our trying does is cause frustration. We can never make life better by trying. And that’s why the Bible says in Gal 3:10,
SCRIPTURE: …anyone who tries to live by his own effort, independent of God, is doomed to failure (Galatians 3:10 MSG)
REFRESHING FOR THE DAY: This matter has really opened up the reason why many people, including the believer’s struggle. They try to work things out on their own. However, to put it clear, trying is not wrong, but trying on our own power without God is frustration. So, we must learn in our trying and efforts to make God the center of it all. Stay Refreshed!
NOTE THIS: Our effort without God is fruitless.
RESPONSIBILITY: So, you must learn to make God the center of all that you do.
PRAYER: O LORD, thank You for Your Word. Please teach me to depend on You in all that I do in life, in Jesus’ name, Amen!
