Times Of Refreshing Daily Devotional
Date: Tuesday, 23 December 2025
Topic: Learning to Rest in God (3)
Focus: Resting in God’s Faithfulness
🔥Theme:
In a world that constantly demands more, God invites us to slow down and rest in Him. This devotional series explores what it truly means to stop striving, release our burdens, and trust God’s loving care. As you journey through these days, you will learn how to find peace in God’s presence, rest in His promises, and live from a place of calm confidence rather than pressure and exhaustion.
📖 Key Verse:
“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” — Matthew 11:28
Devotional:
True rest grows when we remember who God is. When life feels uncertain, it helps to look back and remember God’s faithfulness. He has carried you before, and He will carry you again. Lamentations 3:22–23 reminds us that God’s mercies are new every morning. This means His care does not run out, His patience does not expire, and His love does not fail.
📖 Scripture Reading:
• Lamentations 3:22–23 — God’s mercies are new every morning.
• Psalm 36:5 — God’s faithfulness reaches to the skies.
• Hebrews 10:23 — God is faithful to His promises.
💧 Refreshing for the Day:
Beloved, resting in God does not mean life will always be easy. It means you trust that God is steady even when life is not. Faithfulness gives your heart permission to rest. So, when you remember what God has already done, worry loses its power. Stay Refreshed!
✨ Note This:
🌅 God’s faithfulness is a safe place for a tired heart to rest.
🛡️ Responsibility:
Take a moment to thank God for one way He has been faithful to you.
🙏 Prayer:
Father, thank You for Your faithfulness. Help me rest in the truth that You never fail and never forget me. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
🔥 Prophetic Declaration:
I rest in God’s faithfulness. My heart is calm, my mind is steady, and my trust is secure in Him. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
