KEEPING UP WITH THE PROMISES

Going back to the promises, to what God has spoken to us, is one thing and keeping up with the promises is another. The challenge most of us have is not ignorance of the promise, but the major contest is doubting, unbelieving on the efficacy of the Word of God.

SCRIPTURE: God is not man, that he should lie, or a son of man, that he should change his mind. Has he said, and will he not do it? Or has he spoken, and will he not fulfill it? (Numbers 23:19) ESV

REFRESHING FOR THE DAY: It’s easy to believe when things are going our way, but when there’s a hold up on the promises. When the promises are taking so long, we begin to get worried and tempted to live frustrated. So Beloved, make efforts to keep up with the promises of God. Be grateful to God for what He’s done, thank Him for the promises you have seen and the ones you have not seen. Don’t be caught up on what has not happened, just believe it will happen. It may not happen on your timetable, or the way you think, but surely it must happen. Stay Lifted!

NOTE THIS: When we keep up with the promises of God and to all He’s spoken to us, we see God doing what we can’t do to ourselves.

PRAYER: O LORD, I believe in Your promises. Give me the grace to always keep up with them, in the name of Jesus’ Amen! (Go ahead and continue to pray)

PROPHETIC WORD: May every Word God has spoken over your life come to pass SPEEDILY, in the name of Jesus’ Amen!
