Keep Me on the Potter’s Wheel (7)
Times Of Refreshing Daily Devotional
Date: Saturday, 13 December 2025
Topic: Keep Me on the Potter’s Wheel (7)
Focus: Finished, Useful, and Set Apart
🔥Theme: Surrendering to God’s Refining and Shaping Process
God is the Potter, and we are the clay. His desire is to shape our lives into vessels that reflect His purpose and glory. This theme invites us to surrender to His hands—even when the process feels slow, uncomfortable, or unclear. On the Potter’s wheel, God removes what doesn’t belong, restores what is broken, and forms us into something new. As long as we remain surrendered, His shaping continues and His character is formed in us.
📖 Key Verse:
“But the pot He was shaping from the clay was marred in his hands; so the potter formed it into another pot…” — Jeremiah 18:4
Devotional:
When the potter finishes shaping the clay, the vessel is no longer left on the wheel. It is prepared for use. Every press, every turn, every adjustment had one goal—to make the vessel useful. God’s shaping in your life is never random. He is forming you for purpose.
You may not feel “finished,” but God is producing maturity, strength, and readiness in you. The season on the wheel prepares you to carry weight, responsibility, and blessing without breaking.
📖 Scripture Reading:
• Jeremiah 18:4 — The potter formed the vessel as he saw fit.
• 2 Timothy 2:20–21 — Vessels set apart for honorable use.
• Ephesians 2:10 — Created for good works prepared by God.
💧 Refreshing for the Day:
Jeremiah 18 reminds us that the potter forms the clay as it seemed best to him. When God completes His work, the vessel reflects His design—not the struggle of the process.
So, beloved, stay surrendered. God is preparing you for use.
✨ Note This:
🏺 God does not shape you just to admire His work—He shapes you to use you.
🛡️ Responsibility:
Pray today: “Lord, use me for Your purpose and glory.”
🙏 Prayer:
Father, thank You for shaping me with care and patience. I surrender fully to You. Make my life a vessel that honors You and blesses others. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
🔥 Prophetic Declaration:
I am a finished vessel in God’s hands—set apart, prepared, and ready for His purpose. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
