IT’S JUST FOR A REASON
TIMES OF REFRESHING ONLINE DAILY DEVOTIONAL
DATE: MONDAY 15 FEBRUARY 2021
Are there things that you keep letting upset you or stress you out? In your office a colleague always get you upset. Your neighbor continuously pick-up argument to infuriate you. It seems as if anywhere you go, someone, somehow will always get at you. God is always in the business of pruning His own. He sometimes positioned people in our life, and use them to trim our excesses.
God wouldn’t have allowed things to cross your path, if you didn’t need them. It’s just for a reason. He wants to bring out the best in you. He is not going to be content with you remaining a mediocre. He’s going to keep forming you, until you become the vessel of gold, he’s created you to be.
SCRIPTURE:
Every branch in me that does not bear fruit He takes away, and every branch that does bear fruit He prunes, that it may bear more fruit, (John 15:2) ESV
REFRESHING FOR THE DAY:
Learn not to be distracted by life’s situations nor pay attention to what people do to you, but rather focus on how God wants to change you.
Beloved, you’ve got to learn to overlook faults, and keep your walls up and not be easily offended. Know it that people have the right to what they say or do. It could make you angry, infuriates or maddens you; but you always have the power to decide how what they say or do affects you.
You don’t go along praying for God to change people or remove them from your life; this may be hard to get, because they’re not there by accident. God brought them into your life just for a reason–to change you. Stay Lifted!
NOTE THIS:
Learn not to be distracted by life’s situations nor pay attention to what people do to you, but rather focus on how God wants to change you.
RESPONSIBILITY:
Resolve to submit yourself to God and allow Him to prune you.
PRAYER:
O LORD, help my life, prune me and make me a better person, in the name of Jesus’ Amen! (Go ahead and continue to pray)
PROPHETIC WORD:
May God prune every garbage in your life and establish you, in the name of Jesus, Amen.
