IT’S A SIGN OF INCREASE

We all go through times where it feels like we’re going backwards. We were happy and doing very well, our family was happy, we knew we had God’s favor; but then things turned, we lost a major business contract, a trusted friend walked away and anxiety begins to set in. We wonder what happened? What did we do wrong? But just because you’re having difficulties and things you don’t understand happen doesn’t mean you’re not in God’s will. It’s a sign of increase.
SCRIPTURE: I am the true grapevine, and my Father is the gardener. He cuts off every branch of mine that doesn’t produce fruit, and He prunes the branches that do bear fruit they will produce even more. (John 15:2-3) NLT
REFRESHING FOR THE DAY: We pray for growth and increase in life, but we rarely don’t recognize one when it comes.
From our anchor Scripture, Jesus makes a distinction of two kinds of pruning: cutting off and cutting back branches. Fruitful branches are cut back to promote growth and increase. In other words, God must sometimes discipline us to strengthen our grip on Him and cut off what is not working in us.
Beloved, God may have pruned a friend out of your life, there’s a better friend coming. You may have lost a job, there’s a better job on the way. Don’t be discouraged by the cutback, it’s a sign a new increase is coming. God is setting you back on track for a new growth in life. Stay Lifted!

RESPONSIBILITY: Be sensitive in the spirit, as to understand times, seasons in life.
PRAYER: O LORD, cut off every extreme in my life, and cut me back for increase, in the name of Jesus’ Amen! (Go ahead and continue to pray)
PROPHETIC WORD: May the LORD cause a tremendous increase in your life and yours, in the name of Jesus, Amen.
