We often conclude our prayers with the few lines, ‘Lord, let your Will be done’, but then we’re so shy of the Will of God. Sometimes, things run out of our life, things we don’t like happen to us, and we will be like, “God why, what’s happening to me?” But I tell you, anything that God has allowed to happen to us is for a purpose. It’s all part of His plan and the future He has for us.
SCRIPTURE: For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. (Jeremiah 29:11) NIV
REFRESHING FOR THE DAY: Beloved, nothing lasts forever. God brings things in and out of our life for a purpose. So, hear this, every so often what runs out in your life is not a surprise to God. That relationship that didn’t work out, the company that sacked you, the friend that moved on, the health that brought you down – all these are part of God’s plan.
That they are happening sometimes, doesn’t mean that you’re the worst sinner, nor God is so callous and wants to punish you. No, it was all part of His plan for you. and every step is for a purpose. And it means that new levels of favor are coming, new levels of your destiny, better health, better opportunities, better relationships. See, one day you’re going to look back and say, “God, I thank you for all you’ve done in my life.” Stay Lifted!
NOTE THIS: The Will of God is the plan of God.
