INVEST IN YOUR TIME WITH GOD

One of the most important things we can do is to invest in our time with God. It matures us and strengthens our relationship with God. But more than ever before, people today live desperate, hurried, and hectic lifestyles, and this makes it even more difficult to spend time with the Lord. It’s more impossible to hear from God and know what God’s saying per time when we don’t spend time with Him. So, it becomes so worrisome that too many of us are confused for lack of clarity of purpose. But see what the Bible recorded about Jesus in Matt 14:23,

SCRIPTURE: And after he had dismissed the crowds, he went up on the mountain by himself to pray. When evening came, he was there alone, (Matthew 14:23 ESV)

REFRESHING FOR THE DAY: Investment in time with God guarantees utmost direction and clarity of purpose. It eliminates trial and error in life. You see, we are not meant to live in experimentation. That’s why taking regular time to get away and be alone with the Lord is so vital. So, beloved, I encourage you to spend time just sitting quietly in His presence. Get away from all distractions and interruptions. Take time to pray and read God’s Word, but also take time to just listen. Stay Refreshed!

NOTE THIS: Our time with God is where everything begins, and we need to do whatever it takes to keep it alive.

RESPONSIBILITY: So, take out a schedule with God and purposefully work around it.

PRAYER: O LORD, give me the grace to spend quality time with You always, in the name of Jesus’ Amen! (Go ahead and pray for other intentions as the Spirit leads)

PROPHETIC WORD: As you invest in your time with God, may God manifest all that concern you and more, in the name of Jesus’ Amen!
