Devotional:
One of the greatest discoveries I made while following Jesus was that He never rushed me, even when I was slow to understand His ways. There were seasons when I wandered because of fear, seasons when I became distracted by the cares of life, and seasons when I hesitated to obey because I could not see the whole picture. Yet through it all, Jesus remained my faithful Shepherd.
A good shepherd does not abandon a sheep because it loses its way. Instead, he patiently seeks it, calls it by name, and gently leads it back to safety. That is the kind of Shepherd I met in Jesus. He corrected me without rejecting me. He disciplined me without withdrawing His love. He waited for me to grow, to trust Him, and to recognize His voice more clearly.

Looking back, I realize that many of the delays in my spiritual journey were not because Jesus had stopped leading me, but because He was patiently teaching me to follow. He never forced me ahead before I was ready. Instead, He walked beside me, guiding each step with wisdom and grace. Even when I paused because of doubt or disappointment, His invitation remained the same: “Follow Me.” The more I walked with Him, the more I understood that His patience was not weakness—it was love. He knew exactly what I needed and exactly when I needed it. He never gave up on me simply because my progress was slower than I expected. This is the Jesus I met along the way. A Shepherd who never grew tired of leading me. A Shepherd who patiently waited for my heart to trust Him completely. Stay Refreshed!

🌿 The Good Shepherd does not measure you by how fast you grow, but by your willingness to keep following Him.

Spend time listening for the Shepherd’s voice today through His Word and prayer. If He has been calling you to take a step of obedience, choose to trust Him and follow without fear.

Lord Jesus, thank You for being my Good Shepherd. Thank You for Your patience, Your gentle guidance, and Your unfailing love. Forgive me for the times I have wandered or hesitated to follow You. Help me to recognize Your voice above every other voice and to trust where You lead. Lead me in the paths of righteousness, restore my soul, and keep me close to Your heart every day. In Your precious name, Amen!
🌿 Prophetic Declaration:
Jesus Christ is my Good Shepherd, and I will not be lost. He is leading me with wisdom, protecting me with His love, and restoring my soul day by day. I will hear His voice, follow His direction, and walk confidently in the path He has prepared for me. His goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
