Devotional:

There have been many moments in my life when people failed me. Promises were broken. Expectations were disappointed. Doors I thought would remain open suddenly closed. There were seasons when I questioned why certain things happened the way they did. In those moments, I discovered something precious about Jesus. While circumstances changed and people came and went, He remained the same. His character never changed. His promises never failed. His love never diminished. His faithfulness never wavered.

There were prayers that were not answered the way I expected, yet later I realized He had been protecting me. There were delays that frustrated me, yet in time I saw His wisdom. There were painful seasons that I wished away, yet they became the very places where I encountered His presence most deeply. Looking back, I cannot say that life always unfolded according to my plans—but I can confidently say that Jesus never failed me.

Refreshing for the Day:

Sometimes we mistake unanswered prayers for God’s absence. We interpret delays as neglect or hardships as abandonment. But Jesus is always working, even when we cannot see His hand. His faithfulness is not measured by whether life is easy; it is revealed by His constant presence and His perfect ability to accomplish His purposes in every season. The more I walked with Him, the more I trusted His heart, even when I could not understand His ways. I discovered that faith is not believing that everything will happen exactly as I desire. Faith is believing that Jesus is always good, always wise, and always faithful.

This is the Jesus I met along the way. A Lord who never broke a promise. A Lord who never abandoned me in my darkest hour. A Lord whose faithfulness became the anchor of my soul. Today, I stand with quiet confidence—not because I have all the answers, but because I know the One who holds my future. He has never failed me, and He never will. Stay Refreshed!

Lord Jesus, thank You for Your unwavering faithfulness throughout my life. Thank You for every promise You have kept, every prayer You have answered according to Your perfect will, and every moment You have carried me when I did not have the strength to continue. Help me to trust You even when I do not understand Your ways. Let my confidence rest in Your unchanging character and not in changing circumstances. I choose to believe that You are always working for my good and for Your glory. In Your precious name, Amen!
