DATE: FRIDAY 23 OCTOBER 2020
It has been confirmed that the secret to attain greater spiritual heights and make unimaginable impacts in life and destiny is being consistent at the place of prayer. Now we shall be looking at how can a person be consistent at the place of prayer.
SCRIPTURE:
Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer, (Romans 12:12) ESV
REFRESHING FOR THE DAY:
Consistency in prayer is the key to success and accomplishment both in life and eternity.
Many Christians have started with determination and enthusiasm to have a goal of a daily and consistent prayer time only to fail a few weeks later, or even a few days, in achieving this objective. The secret to achieve a positive and constructive result on anything one does, is to understand its significant and how to accomplish it.
HOW CAN ONE BE CONSISTENT AT THE PLACE OF PRAYER
1. Establish a prayer pattern: Create a pattern of prayer and make it simple and modest. Make your pattern approachable, and let it trigger you to always pray, (Mark 1:35). Start with a structure of 2 to 3 minutes plan, and increase it progressively.
2. Create a sign/reminder that prompts you to pray: Establish a signage and place it at strategic locations around your home, so whenever you see it, it will remind you to pray.
3. Schedule a prayer time and stick to it, (Romans 8:12-13)
4. Create a prayer closet: Designate a comfortable portion of your home and decide that you will use it as a place to pray always.
5. Create a friendly approach to prayer: Don’t make prayer too formal. Come as you are to God, talk to Him as your Father and express your concerns with him. Don’t wait until you have a problem to start praying.
Beloved, there are great and mighty things God wants to share with you, (Jeremiah 33:3); you can only access them through a consistent prayer. Put up a prayer plan, and when your plans are disrupted by life’s circumstances, don’t be too hard on yourself. Pull yourself together and start again. Stay Lifted!
NOTE THIS:
Consistency in prayer is the key to success and accomplishment both in life and eternity.
RESPONSIBILITY:
Pray until your purpose is manifested.
PRAYER:
O LORD, help me to grow consistently in my prayer walk, in Jesus name, Amen! (Go ahead and continue to pray)
PROPHETIC WORD:
May God hear and answer your prayers, in the name of Jesus, Amen.
