Hope That Does Not Disappoint (5)

Times Of Refreshing Daily Devotional

Date: Monday, 19 January 2026

Topic: Hope That Does Not Disappoint (5)

Focus: Hope That Carries You Through Waiting

🔥Theme:

A new year often brings new expectations—and sometimes quiet fears. But God offers a kind of hope that is not fragile, uncertain, or temporary. This series focuses on building confident hope in God’s promises as the year unfolds. Through these devotionals, you will learn how to trust God beyond outcomes, hold onto hope during uncertainty, and walk forward with assurance that God will not fail you. This is hope that stands firm—because it is rooted in Him.

📖 Key Verse:

“And hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit.”Romans 5:5

Devotional:

Waiting is one of the greatest tests of hope. It is easy to feel hopeful when answers come quickly, but waiting stretches our trust in God. Biblical hope does not fade in waiting—it grows. Isaiah 40:31 reminds us that those who wait on the Lord renew their strength. Hope gives us the endurance to keep trusting God, even when timelines are unclear.

📖 Scripture Reading:

  • Isaiah 40:31 — Strength renewed while waiting
  • Psalm 130:5 — Hope in God’s Word
  • Habakkuk 2:3 — The promise will come at the right time

💧 Refreshing for the Day:

Waiting does not mean God has forgotten you. Delay does not mean denial.
Hope keeps your heart steady while God works. As you wait in this new year, hold onto hope with confidence. God’s timing is purposeful, and His promises are sure. Stay Refreshed!

Note This:

Waiting becomes lighter when hope leads the way.

🛡️ Responsibility:

Choose to wait today with expectation rather than frustration.

🙏 Prayer:

Father, help me hold onto hope as I wait. Strengthen my heart and remind me that You are working even when I cannot see it. In Jesus’ name, Amen!

🔥 Prophetic Declaration:

My hope remains strong as I wait. God is faithful, and His promises will come to pass in His perfect timing. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
