HELP MY LIFE, OH LORD (2)
TIMES OF REFRESHING ONLINE DAILY DEVOTIONAL www.thefountspring.org
DATE: THURSDAY, 14 MARCH 2024
So, beloved, there is no situation too difficult for the Lord to handle, no burden too heavy for Him to bear, and no heart too broken for Him to mend. When we cry out, “Help my life, Oh Lord,” we can rest assured that God hears us. God is not distant or detached from His creation. He doesn’t merely watch from afar as events unfold in our lives. Instead, He is intimately involved in every aspect of our existence. Just as a loving parent is attentive to their child’s needs, God is attentive to us. He listens to our prayers, sees our struggles, and actively works for our good.
SCRIPTURE: Scripture: “God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.” — Psalm 46:1 (NIV)
REFRESHING FOR THE DAY: Therefore, in our moments of weakness, let us lean on His strength. In our moments of confusion, let us seek His wisdom. In our moments of despair, let us find hope in His promises. For He is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in times of trouble. Stay Refreshed!
NOTE THIS: God’s love is constant and unwavering. It surpasses human understanding and extends beyond our failures and shortcomings. His love is not based on our performance or merit but on His character.
RESPONSIBILITY: So, dearly, as we journey through life, may we continually lift our eyes to the Lord, our Helper and Sustainer.
PRAYER: O LORD, thank You for being our ever-present help in trouble. As we place our trust in You, may Your unfailing love, boundless grace, and unmatched power sustain us through every trial and tribulation we encounter in life. In the name of Jesus, we pray, Amen!
PROPHETIC WORD: As we lift our eyes to the Lord, may we find comfort and assurance in the Lord, the One who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine. In the name of Jesus, Amen!
