Insight from the Scripture has shown that God has a plan for us; a plan to prosper us, not to harm us, but to give us hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11). If God had something better, He could orchestrate events to achieve His plans. That person that walked away wasn’t a coincidence, it was God moving them away, so He can bring something better on the table.

SCRIPTURE: The steps of a man are ordered by the LORD who takes delight in his journey. (Psalm 37:23) BSB

REFRESHING FOR THE DAY: Some closed doors are not bad break; it could be God is ordering your steps into something better.

Beloved, when you understand that God had something better, then you don’t live frustrated when things are not working. You don’t get upset, when you don’t get your way. You realize, the closed door wasn’t meant to hurt you, it was God offering the better option.

So, don’t be discouraged over the door that is closed, it wasn’t a coincidence, God is positioning you into something better. Sometimes it’s going to feel like you’re going backwards, you have to trust Him and know that, He had something better. Stay Lifted!

RESPONSIBILITY: Trust in the Lord always, even when things are not working, and know He has something better.

PRAYER: O LORD, I trust in Your plans in my life, let it become of me according to Your ways, in the name of Jesus’ Amen! (Go ahead and continue to pray)
