Nothing can be more gainful and rewarding in life than delighting in the Lord. When we delight in the Lord, God will delight in us (Zeph 3:17, Ps 147:11). He will cause us to ride on the high hills of the earth and feeds us (Is 58:14). We shall not be forsaken, nor desolate, but the Lord will delight Himself in us and we shall possess our possessions (Is 62:4). He will deliver us from all troubles (Ps 50:15), and give us abundant peace (Jer 33:6). Wow… what a wonderful experience it is!
SCRIPTURE: Blessed is the man who fears the LORD, who greatly delights in his commandments! His offspring will be mighty in the land… (Psalm 112:1-2) ESV
REFRESHING FOR THE DAY: Every of God’s promises and His blessings are the portion of those who delight in Him.
Beloved, when you delight in the Lord, God will comfort your soul (Ps 62:1), He will order your steps, He will give you the desires of your heart (Ps 37:4), His mercy and favor will flow upon you (Ps 23:6), and your soul will delight in abundance (Is 55:2). He will never allow you to walk in error; and when you do, He will correct you, and cause you to walk in truth (Ps 86:11). Stay Lifted!
NOTE THIS: Every of God’s promises and His blessings are the portion of those who delight in Him.
RESPONSIBILITY: Ask the Lord for the grace to always delight in Him.
PRAYER: O LORD, give me the grace to always delight in You, and cause me not to swerve away from You, in the name of Jesus’ Amen! (Go ahead and continue to pray)
PROPHETIC WORD: As you unceasingly delight in the Lord, may He delight in you and cause your soul delight in abundance, in the name of Jesus’ Amen!
