Fresh Oil for a New Season (3)
Times Of Refreshing Daily Devotional
Date: Saturday, 2 January 2026
Topic: Fresh Oil for a New Season (3)
Focus: Fresh Oil Restores What Was Drained
🔥Theme:
Every new season requires fresh oil. Yesterday’s strength is not enough for today’s journey. This devotional series is an invitation to begin the year renewed—spiritually refreshed, strengthened by God, and ready for what lies ahead. As you walk through these days, expect God to refill what has been drained, restore what has grown weary, and prepare you for the new season He has already planned.
📖 Key Verse:
“You have exalted my horn like that of a wild ox; fine oils have been poured on me.” — Psalm 92:10
Devotional:
Long seasons can drain us. Responsibilities, battles, waiting, and disappointments slowly take their toll. Sometimes we don’t even realize how empty we’ve become until we try to move forward. Fresh oil is God’s answer to what has been drained. God never ignores exhaustion. He restores it. Psalm 23 reminds us that the Lord restores our soul—not only when we are completely broken, but also when we are quietly worn down.
📖 Scripture Reading:
- Psalm 23:1–3 — The Lord restores the soul
- Joel 2:25 — God restores what was lost
- Galatians 6:9 — Do not grow weary in doing good
💧 Refreshing for the Day:
Fresh oil refills joy where it faded. Fresh oil renews hope where it grew dim. Fresh oil revives passion where it weakened. You are not meant to begin a new season depleted. God restores what was poured out. God restores what life has drained from you. Stay Refreshed!
✨ Note This:
🫗 Fresh oil fills the places where weariness once lived.
🛡️ Responsibility:
Identify one area where you feel drained and invite God to restore it today.
🙏 Prayer:
Father, You see the places where I have grown tired and empty. I ask You to restore my joy, my strength, and my passion. Fill me again with fresh oil from Your presence. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
🔥 Prophetic Declaration:
I receive restoration from the Lord. What was drained is being refilled, and my soul is renewed with fresh oil for this season. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
