Occasionally, people may experience delay, disappointment and betrayal in life’s pursuit. But sometimes, in the midst of them, God is working out something greater for His people. He has a plan for us. So, it is important we understand the strategy and plan of God for our lives and embrace it. When we understand this strategy, life becomes pretty awesome.
SCRIPTURE:
Then Midianite traders passed by. And they drew Joseph up and lifted him out of the pit, and sold him to the Ishmaelites for twenty shekels of silver. They took Joseph to Egypt, (Genesis 37:28) ESV
REFRESHING FOR THE DAY:
Understanding and embracing God’s plan for your life, is a tonic in times of adversity.
Taking a close study of the entire chapter of our anchor scripture, we found that Joseph had great interruptions in life. As a teenager, he was betrayed by his brothers and thrown into a pit. Then he was sold into slavery, he was lied about, falsely accused and spent years in prison for something that he didn’t do.
Beloved, it looked like it was one bad thing after another. He could’ve been bitter, negative, but Joseph understood this principle, that even though it may look bad, feel bad, be unfair, when it all comes together, God’s going to use it for your good. After 13 years of trouble, disappointments, betrayals, he was not only vindicated, he was promoted. Pharaoh brought him out of prison and put him second in command of the nation. Joseph saw his dream come to pass.
I pray for you, that betrayal, denial or disappointment that made you cry in shame, may it bring you to fame and recognition, in Jesus name! Stay Lifted!

PRAYER:
O LORD, show me Your plans for my life and give me the grace to embrace them, in Jesus’ name, Amen! (Go ahead and continue to pray)

May God be gracious to you, show you His plans for your life and cause you to embrace them, in the name of Jesus, Amen.
