Nothing impedes growth and destroys one’s future like the feeling of guilt. It’s an emotional response to our old sinful life. We feel we’ve had enough sin that God can never forgive us. But the Scripture says in 2 Cor. 5:17, “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away…” And that’s our new identity in Christ Jesus. In Him, we’re called into a new life of great possibilities and not to regret, guilt and damnation. For through His death and resurrection, our sins and its consequences are wiped away. Alleluia!
SCRIPTURE: Do not call to mind the former things; pay no attention to the things of old. (Isaiah 43:18) BSB
REFRESHING FOR THE DAY: Beloved, hear this, in Christ Jesus, God has pushed the delete button on our guilt. It exists no more. You may have made mistakes in the past – we all have, but don’t let guilt that’s no more, stunt your growth. Don’t give enemy, the accuser of brethren the chance to ruin your future. Just keep on basking in your new found life and joy in Christ Jesus. Stay Lifted!

RESPONSIBILITY: Get your passion back, start living and hoping again in Christ Jesus.
PRAYER: O LORD, thank You for saving me, taking my sins and guilt away and given me abundant life, in the name of Jesus’ Amen! (Go ahead and continue to pray)
PROPHETIC WORD: May the passion and blood of Christ give you eternal life and launch you into great possibilities, in the name of Jesus’ Amen!
