DON’T LET ANYONE DISCOUNT YOU

TIMES OF REFRESHING

ONLINE DAILY DEVOTIONAL

DATE: WEDNESDAY 3 FEBRUARY 2021

It’s easy to go through life thinking that we’re lacking in some area: we feel inferior about things we think we should have that we don’t have; and allowing people’s thought about us to get into us. The world may assume anything about you and reduce you to nothing, but you must first of all, begin to wear off every negative thought they have about you and set your mind right to launch yourself into life and greatness.

Don’t let anyone discount you. If the Lord Most High has counted you in and approved you, you don’t need people’s approval, you don’t need their validation.

SCRIPTURE:

And I thank Christ Jesus our Lord who has enabled me, because He counted me faithful, putting me into the ministry, (1 Timothy 1:12) NKJV

REFRESHING FOR THE DAY:

Your destiny doesn’t depend on the hands of men, it belongs to God.

Beloved, maybe someone is trying to discount you, make you feel like you’re not brilliant enough, not good-looking enough and not up to equivalence. Do yourself a favor, don’t let that get into you. Don’t let anyone discount you. They didn’t breathe the life into you, they didn’t know you before you were formed in your mother’s womb, they don’t control your destiny.

No matter how many other folks see you as ordinary, unworthy and have counted you out. Don’t worry, be happy because our Lord Jesus Christ has counted you in, (1 Tim 1:12). You are royalty. You have been adopted into the family of God. Not only are you entitled to eternal life in the hereafter, but you are entitled to all sorts of good things in the here and now.

So, hold your head up high because you have been counted in by the Father. He knows you have been overlooked and disregarded. But He has not disregarded you. He is moving on your behalf right now and changing the course of your destiny. Remain Refreshed!

NOTE THIS:

Your destiny doesn’t depend on the hands of men, it belongs to God.

RESPONSIBILITY:

Get rid of a deficit mindset and step up to who you were created to be.

PRAYER:

O LORD, thank you for counting me in, even when the world discounts me, Amen! (Go ahead and continue to pray)

PROPHETIC WORD:

May God favor you in adversity and cause everything to work for your good, in the name of Jesus, Amen.

BIBLE TEXTS: 1 Timothy 1:12
