Beloved, do you feel like you’re going through a time of testing in your life? Are you struggling with a situation that you’re tempted to simply avoid, ignore, or run away from because it’s too hard to face? I say to you, take courage, do not grow cold in your faith! Remember our Lord Jesus tells us in John 16:33, He says,
SCRIPTURE: …in this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” (John 16:33 NIV)
REFRESHING FOR THE DAY: The truth is we all go through hard times, and during those times, it’s not just easy. But we can either trust God to help us deal with them or choose to give up. But then if we give up, we won’t move forward in life and experience God’s best for us. However, note, sometimes God allows us to go through difficulties in this life because it’s during those times that we grow in our faith and develop more of the character of Christ. So, trials and hard times reveal who we are and what we really believe. They test us. And until we learn to deal with them, we may really don’t know who we are and what we would do. Stay Refreshed!
