TIMES OF REFRESHING ONLINE DAILY DEVOTIONAL www.thefountspring.org
DATE: SUNDAY, 12 NOVEMBER 2023
TOPIC: LIVING A LIFE OF PURPOSE: A SOURCE OF SPIRITUAL FULFILLMENT
Successively, the ensuing outstanding path of discovering our divine purpose is by serving others in love. Serving is an expression of compassion in action. Allow your heart to be moved by the needs of others, and let that compassion drive your acts of service. Serving others begins with a heart of humility. Approach each opportunity to serve with a genuine desire to uplift and support those around you.
SCRIPTURE: “For even the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.” – Mark 10:45
REFRESHING FOR THE DAY: When we selflessly serve, we align ourselves with God’s plan. Our purpose may be intertwined with acts of kindness, compassion, and love towards our fellow beings. Service to others impacts beyond words. We embrace empathy as a guide. We put ourselves in others’ shoes. By understanding their experiences and challenges, we can better tailor our service to meet their specific needs. Stay Refreshed!
NOTE THIS: Small acts of service can have profound effects. You don’t always need grand gestures to make a difference; sometimes, it’s the simplicity of your actions that leaves a lasting impact.
RESPONSIBILITY: So, beloved, in your quest to discover your divine purpose, embrace selfless service to others. When you serve without expecting anything in return, you discover a deep sense of fulfillment and purpose.
PRAYER: O LORD, in our humble pursuit to discover our divine purpose, give us the grace to serve others in love, in the name of Jesus’ Amen!
PROPHETIC WORD: And may the Lord bless our sincere and unaffected love and service to others, in the name of Jesus’ Amen!
