DISCOVERING YOUR DIVINE PURPOSE (4)
TIMES OF REFRESHING ONLINE DAILY DEVOTIONAL www.thefountspring.org
DATE: FRIDAY, 10 NOVEMBER 2023
TOPIC: LIVING A LIFE OF PURPOSE: A SOURCE OF SPIRITUAL FULFILLMENT
Again, another beautiful path of discovering our divine purpose is by embracing our unique talents. We’re all uniquely gifted, and our talents are a vital part of our divine purpose. They are not accidental nor mere skills, they are gifts from God divinely endowed upon us. So, we must embrace them as a part of our unique design and use them to make impact in the world. However, our talents are not just for personal gain; they are meant to be shared in service to others. Yes, this true, because in giving, we often find the true purpose of our gifts.
SCRIPTURE: “As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God’s varied grace.” – 1 Peter 4:10 (NIV)
REFRESHING FOR THE DAY: So, beloved, embrace and celebrate the uniqueness of your talents. They are seeds; nurture them with practice and dedication. Allow them to grow and evolve as you journey through life. Just as each instrument contributes to a sweet symphony, your unique abilities add richness to the world around you. Stay Refreshed!
NOTE THIS: Our talents are like tools for purpose in a craftsman’s hands. So, we must learn to engage them purposefully to carve out the masterpiece of our lives.
RESPONSIBILITY: Let’s ask God for the grace to embrace our talents, nurture them with practice and dedication and allow them to grow.
PRAYER: O LORD, give us the grace to embrace our divine unique talents and gifts and nurture them to grow, even while we use them to serve others, in the name of Jesus’ Amen!
PROPHETIC WORD: May the Lord help us and give us the grace to embrace our unique talents and gifts and guide us to discover our divine purpose on earth, in the name of Jesus’ Amen!
BIBLE TEXTS: 1 Peter 4:10
