TOPIC: LIVING A LIFE OF PURPOSE: A SOURCE OF SPIRITUAL FULFILLMENT
So, beloved, your divine purpose is not a one-size-fits-all concept. Just as no two snowflakes are identical, your purpose is distinct to you. It is a combination of your passions, talents, and experiences that allow you to make a meaningful impact on the world. However, the key to discovering your purpose lies in self-reflection and seeking God’s guidance. You may consider the following steps: First, reflect on your passions. What activities make you come alive? What stirs your heart with joy and enthusiasm? Our passions are often indicators of the areas where God has called us to serve.
SCRIPTURE: “But for this purpose I have raised you up, to show you my power, so that my name may be proclaimed in all the earth.” – Exodus 9:16 (ESV)
REFRESHING FOR THE DAY: Secondly, examine your talents. What are you naturally good at? Your talents are not just skills; they are tools for fulfilling your purpose. Use them to serve others and bring glory to God. Again, consider your life’s journey; your past experiences, both positive and challenging, they have shaped you. Carefully pinpoint what informs you most amongst them. Those that clearly stands out are what you’re called to do. They can equip you with empathy, wisdom, and resilience that you can use to help others. And finally, seek God’s wisdom and guidance. Seeking God’s wisdom and guidance through prayer are essential in this journey. For God knows our purpose better than anyone, and He is eager to guide us. But we must be patient and attentive to His voice. Stay Refreshed!
NOTE THIS: Discovering our divine purpose is not a one-time event but an ongoing process. It may evolve as we grow and change.
RESPONSIBILITY: So, it’s essential to trust that God’s plan is perfect and that He will lead us on the path of purpose.
PRAYER: O LORD, as we walk in faith and trust in Your wisdom and guidance to discover and fulfill our purpose on earth, cause us to find spiritual fulfillment in life, in the name of Jesus’ Amen!
