DISCERNING AND BEING IN THE CENTER OF GOD’S WILL (5)

However, it’s also important for us to note that no amount of effort a person would put in doing the wrong thing that will ever make it to be right. And no matter what we desire and how strongly we feel about it, it will never become the will of God. Our Lord Jesus Christ understood this reality when He was praying at the Gethsemane in Matt 26:39; He said,
SCRIPTURE: …“My Father, if it is possible, may this cup be taken from me. Yet not as I will, but as you will.” (Matthew 26:39 NIV)
REFRESHING FOR THE DAY: Jesus wished that the way of the cross be taken away from Him. He cried heavily to the Father. But then, inasmuch as He wanted the pain and suffering out of the way, He eventually accepted the will of God for His life. So, sometimes, the will of God is not so sweet. It could be so tough and challenging, but however tough it may be, we must never be afraid or shy away from it. We must learn to accept it in good faith and ask God for the grace to get through it. Stay Refreshed!
NOTE THIS: There is a way to live and there is what to do; every of their answers are found being in the center of God’s will.
RESPONSIBILITY: So, ask God for the grace to find and remain in the center of His will for your life.
PRAYER: O LORD, give me the grace to find and remain in the center of Your will for my life, in Jesus’ name, Amen!
PROPHETIC WORD: May the Lord help you and cause you to find and remain in the center of His will, in the name of Jesus’ Amen!
BIBLE TEXTS: Matthew 26:39, Proverbs 19:21
