TIMES OF REFRESHING
ONLINE DAILY DEVOTIONAL by Obiorah Prince Emeka
DATE: THURSDAY 22 OCTOBER 2020
Have you ever wondered how some Christians are able to attain greater spiritual heights and make unimaginable impacts in life while others struggle? The secret is, they understand the effective power of consistency. No matter what you are doing in life, consistency is the key to accomplishment.
By the way of definition, consistency is referred to as adherence to the same principles in a steadfast way. This holds true in our prayer life, in business and relationships. If your prayer life isn’t working, ask yourself, “Have I been consistent in it?
SCRIPTURE:
But we will give ourselves continually to prayer, and to the ministry of the word, (Acts 6:4) KJV
REFRESHING FOR THE DAY:
Prevailing in the place of value is a function of being consistent at the place of prayer.
As Christians we ought to be consistent in prayers to experience greater shift in the realm of the spirit and step up to a higher level in life. In prayer we encounter the presence of God. And in the presence of God mountains melt like wax, (Psalm 97:5).
Show me a man who is consistent at the place of prayers, I will show you a man who is a terror to the devil. The devil is not afraid of your size nor how fat your bank account is, but the vagabond is terrified of your intensity and consistency at the place of prayer.
Beloved, if you want to achieve anything of great value and meaning in your life, and attain greater spiritual heights, then you need to be consistent at the place of prayer. Stay Lifted!
NOTE THIS:
Prevailing in the place of value is a function of being consistent at the place of prayer.
