There are certain level of success and achievement one can never reach in life and destiny if he has not committed his life to God. The Scripture says, “the earth is the LORD’s, and everything in it. The world and all its people belong to Him” (Psalm 24:1). That’s to say everything we seek in life – the contract, promotion, favor, good health, success in business, suitable life partner, belongs to God and can only be given to those who are truly committed to Him.
SCRIPTURE: Commit everything you do to the LORD. Trust him, and He will help you. (Psalm 37:5) NLT
REFRESHING FOR THE DAY: Who you commit to determines what you achieve. We seem to seek people’s connections more than committing to God; but we fail to realize that no true connection will happen if God does not approve it. Every genuine and sincere connection comes from the Lord. Committing our life to God is literally trust in Him. When we trust in God, He will make the reward for our godly life shine like the dawn. He will make the proof of our honest life shine like the sun at noon— (Psalm 37:6).
Beloved, it pays to serve the Lord. Don’t be upset when other people succeed, because you don’t know what they did to succeed. There are evil waves of distraction blowing everywhere; people are in a hurry to make it, but I counsel you, be still and wait patiently for the Lord, commit your life to Him and He will catapult you to a level you have never imagined you would get to in life. Stay Lifted!
