Commanding Your Destiny (3)
Times Of Refreshing Daily Devotional
Date: Tuesday, 9 September 2025
Topic: Commanding Your Destiny (3)
Focus: Declaring God’s Promises Over Your Life
🔥 Message:
God has given His children the authority not just to survive life, but to shape it according to His Word. Through prayer and prophetic declarations, you can align your life with Heaven’s blueprint and enforce God’s promises over your destiny. Job 22:28 declares:
“You will also decree a thing, and it will be established for you; and light will shine on your ways.” This is not about wishful thinking—it is about speaking God’s Word with faith and authority. Declarations silence the enemy, break barriers, and call forth what God has already written concerning you. So, beloved, over the next 7 days, this devotional will help you rediscover the power of your words, partner with Heaven’s decrees, and command your destiny into alignment with God’s perfect will.
📖 Key Verse:
Job 22:28 (NKJV): “You will also declare a thing, and it will be established for you; so light will shine on your ways.”
Devotional:
God’s Word is not just for reading—it’s for declaring. His promises are weapons in your mouth that shape your destiny. When you decree what He has spoken, you are agreeing with Heaven and activating His will on earth. Joshua was told: “Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful.” —(Joshua 1:8) Notice the key: on your lips. Prosperity and success were tied not only to believing God’s Word but also speaking it continually.
📖 Scripture Reading:
Joshua 1:8 – Keep the Word on your lips.
Matthew 4:4 – “It is written…”
2 Corinthians 1:20 – All the promises of God are “Yes” in Christ.
💧 Refreshing for the Day:
Jesus Himself resisted the devil in the wilderness with declarations of Scripture: “It is written…” (Matthew 4:4). If the Son of God declared the Word to enforce victory, how much more must we? So, beloved, when you declare God’s promises, you are not begging for something uncertain—you are enforcing what He has already guaranteed. God’s promises are fulfilled when you believe them in your heart and declare them with your mouth. Stay Refreshed!
✨ Note This:
🔥 Every promise unspoken is a promise unenforced.
🛡️ Responsibility:
✅ Find three promises from Scripture (e.g., provision, healing, victory). Write them out and declare them aloud over your life morning and night.
🙏 Prayer:
Father, thank You for Your unshakable promises. I choose to declare them over my life today. Let every word You have spoken come alive in me and establish my destiny. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
🔥 Prophetic Declaration:
I declare God’s promises over my life! They will not fail, they will not delay, and they will manifest in Jesus’ name. My destiny aligns with His Word. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
📖 Bible Texts:
Job 22:28, Joshua 1:8, Matthew 4:4, 2 Corinthians 1:20
