COME OUT OF THAT SHADE (6)

Sometimes the reason we’re in the shade is that’s what we saw demonstrated growing up. We were raised and fostered by people that were negative and unconfident. People that have lived in guilty, and now that style of living has become normal to us. But that’s not who we are; that’s a result of being in the shade. So, for some people fear, low self-esteem and lack of confidence has been blocking their growth to the next level. But we must hark to the voice of the Lord to Gideon in Judges 6:14,16, He said to him,
SCRIPTURE: … “Go in the strength you have and save Israel out of Midian’s hand… “I will be with you, and you will strike down all the Midianites, leaving none alive.” (Judges 6:14,16 NIV)
REFRESHING FOR THE DAY: So, beloved, you’re encouraged to heed by the powerful Word of the Lord and break out even. Yes, you may be characterized by the same excuses of Gideon. That may only be true for you when you look back at your past and stick to your family background. But here’s the key: you’re the one God has raised up to step out of the shade. You’re the one to set the new standard, to be the difference maker. Don’t let those negative things keep affecting you and getting passed down. All it takes is for one person to rise up and come of the shade. You’re that one person. Just like the risen Gideon, step out of the addiction, and get ready to set a new standard. And at the end, you shall be victorious. Stay Refreshed!
NOTE THIS: Some kind of addiction may have rocked your family in the past, but that was just a season in your life. Now, it’s the time for you to come out of the shade of guilt and launch out in bold faith for a glorious future.
RESPONSIBILITY: So, all it takes is a firm confidence and trust in God.
PRAYER: O LORD, give me the grace for confident and cause me to live above every self-guilt and family pity, in Jesus’ name, Amen!
PROPHETIC WORD: May the Lord help you to come out of every shade in your life, and give you the grace to push for stronger, in the name of Jesus’ Amen!
