So, other place of the Scripture where God manifested His powers when the people invited Him into the picture of their lives was in Daniel 3:22. Three Hebrew teenagers wouldn’t bow down to the king’s golden idol. The king was so furious, he threatened to have them thrown into a burning fire. The teenager said, “King we’re not worried, we know our God will deliver us”. This made the king even more angry. He had the guards turn up the fire seven times hotter than normal. Yet they were not afraid, because they understood it when David declared in Psalm 23:4,
SCRIPTURE: Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me. (Psalm 23:4 ESV)
REFRESHING FOR THE DAY: So, when they were thrown into the blazing fire, they brought God into it. God came down, unbound them and delivered them (vs. 26-27). So, beloved, in your unfavorable situations or what may seem a fire to you, instead of complaining about it, bring God into it. He knows how to make you a fireproof. Stay Refreshed!
NOTE THIS: When you bring God into your matter, everything will begin to matter. And when God is with you, you cannot be defeated.
RESPONSIBILITY: So, now, go ahead and bring God into the picture of your life.
PRAYER: O LORD, I bring You into the challenges of my life, please answer me and deliver me, in Jesus’ name, Amen!
PROPHETIC WORD: As you begin to bring God into the picture of your life, may the Lord answer you and deliver you speedily, in the name of Jesus’ Amen!
