BLESSED THAN YOU THINK
TIMES OF REFRESHING ONLINE DAILY DEVOTIONAL www.thefountspring.org
DATE: TUESDAY 6 APRIL 2021
There is every need we review the yardstick by which people measure God’s blessing. Many people, even Christians, equate the word “blessing” with “financial or material prosperity.” To them, as long as one has a car, a big smartphone and lives in a fine house, he is blessed. Sadly, many don’t think of being saved from sin and escape from hell as blessings.
Many of us forget that we have been blessed by God’s daily grace and mercies. The fact that you are alive and breathing at all is a blessing. If your mother had told you the many battles she had fought when you were in the womb, yet many offspring couldn’t survive it; but you did survive it. You fought all of those odds just to be here. And that is no accident, it’s because you are blessed more than you think.
SCRIPTURE: But blessed is the one who trusts in the LORD, whose confidence is in him. (Jeremiah 17:7) NIV
REFRESHING FOR THE DAY: If you are not needed, you wouldn’t be in existence. For your existence means something – you are blessed.
Beloved, if there is what you may need to know to be convinced that you are blessed, know it that someone is happy that you are existing, someone is smiling because of you today, someone will remember the good thing you have done and give glory to God.
So, that your business failed, the contract didn’t go through, friends abandoned you and people despise you, does not mean you are a bad luck. When all these happened, for the reason you are blessed; come on! relax and know that God is making everything new for your good. Stay Lifted!
NOTE THIS: If you are not needed, you wouldn’t be in existence. For your existence means something – you are blessed.
RESPONSIBILITY: Remain ever grateful to God at all times.
PRAYER: O LORD, may your showers of blessing upon my life never cease, in the name of Jesus’ Amen! (Go ahead and continue to pray)
PROPHETIC WORD: May God bless you and make His face shine upon you, in the name of Jesus, Amen.
