BEHOLD, YOUR SAVIOR IS HERE
TIMES OF REFRESHING ONLINE DAILY DEVOTIONAL www.thefountspring.org
DATE: SUNDAY, 25 DECEMBER 2022
It was a silent night, when everyone has gone to sleep, except for the shepherds who were out in the field keeping watch over their flock. And the angel of the Lord appeared to the shepherds and the glory of the Lord shone around them (Luke 2:9). And he declared to them the greatest news the whole world has been waiting for; he said to them,
SCRIPTURE: …“Fear not, for behold, I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.” (Luke 2:10-11 ESV)
REFRESHING FOR THE DAY: Beloved, I don’t know what is silent and dark in your life now, and you feel like you have been left out in the cold, just know that Jesus came to be your Savior at such a time like this. He was born in the cold and uncomfortable manger, for you to have a warm and comfort life. There was no room for Him in the inn (Luke 2:7), so that there will always be room for you and yours here on earth and a mansion in heaven waiting for you (John 14:2). What volume of love is this? So, go ahead and celebrate with joy and this love with your family, friends, and everyone around you, for behold, your Savior is born. Stay Refreshed and Merry Christmas!
NOTE THIS: Christmas is not just a day, it’s a lifestyle. We live to let Christ be born daily in our lives.
RESPONSIBILITY: So, make merry, celebrate with joy and share love with others.
PRAYER: O LORD, as I celebrate the birth of Your Son and my Savior Jesus today, may His birth bring everlasting peace and joy in my life and family, in Jesus’ name, Amen!
PROPHETIC WORD: And may the birth of our Lord Jesus bring many good things in your life and family, in the name of Jesus’ Amen!
BIBLE TEXTS: Luke 2:10-11
