There’s power in being thankful. And the more thankful we are, the happier we are. Yes, this is true. If we’re thankful for what we do have, then we won’t be paying so much attention to what we don’t have. This is to say that being thankful is a panacea to live a happy life. So, beloved, if you feel life is complicated, today’s teaching is for you. Find out how you can have rest with God in every area of your life.
SCRIPTURE: Let them give thanks to the LORD for His loving devotion and His wonders to the sons of men. For He satisfies the thirsty and fills the hungry with good things. (Psalms 107:8-9 BSB)
REFRESHING FOR THE DAY: So, one sure thing that we must do if we want to live a happy life is to be thankful. Being thankful means to be grateful. Be grateful to God for who you are and for what you have. It has a way of comforting us of the troubles and challenges of life. We don’t go all out vying and trying to be something we’re not. But rather we find our level of expertise, competence and gifting and measure in them. We don’t have to be apologetic for who we are not and what we do not have. But however, in every area of our lives, we must learn to be thankful and always happy. Stay Refreshed!
NOTE THIS: Life is not intended to be stressful, but we in some way, ignorantly fetch stress upon ourselves. But when we are thankful and happy, it saves a lot for us.
RESPONSIBILITY: So, consciously desire to be thankful and live a happy life.
PRAYER: O LORD, give me the grace to be thankful and always live a happy life, in the name of Jesus’ Amen! (Go ahead and pray for other intentions as the Spirit leads)
PROPHETIC WORD: May God grant you the grace to be ever thankful, even as you live a happy life, in the name of Jesus’ Amen!
