As life rolls by, it unfolds and births many kinds of things, both the good ones and the bad ones. We can’t predict the outcome nor control it, but we can only respond to how it affects us. So, it’s wisdom and won’t be out of place to have a fore knowledge on this matter, and decisively put up the right approach to it. There will always be something that can sour our day, and if we’re going to live in victory, we have to access the right approach to life.
SCRIPTURE: You shall do what is right and good in the sight of the Lord, that it may be well with you…(Deuteronomy 6:18) ESV
REFRESHING FOR THE DAY: Leading a great life depends on your approach to it– don’t allow what you can’t control to sour your life. Beloved it’s said, “Life is 10% what happens to you and 90% how you respond”. Many times, we are frustrated because we’re trying to control the 10%. And we’re not going to be happy unless everything goes our way, and everybody treats us right.
That’s the wrong approach. I’ve learnt this lesson: we can’t control everything, we can’t control what our neighbor does to us, or how people treat us. All we can control is our own response, and that’s where the power lies. The power doesn’t lie in trying to control everybody and everything, and that’s the right approach to life. Stay Lifted!

RESPONSIBILITY: Decide that no matter what, you will never allow life’s circumstances to make you sour.
PRAYER: O LORD, give me the grace to access the right approach to life, in the name of Jesus’ Amen! (Go ahead and continue to pray)
