Insights from the scriptures had clearly shown, there is satisfaction in the Lord and leading power of God in the morning hours, (Psalm 90:14; 143:8). After going through the rigour of a busy day; every morning we have the opportunity to set the tone for our whole day, by putting God first and committing our day to Him in prayers, (Isaiah 33:2).

 

When you start your day with God in prayers, you are commanding the host of heavens on assignment to work on your behalf. And when you do that, you contact powers from heaven to set a positive spiritual frame of mind, and pave way for God’s blessings, success and victory for the day. 

 

SCRIPTURE:

In the morning, LORD, you hear my voice; in the morning I lay my requests before you and wait expectantly, (Psalm 5:3) NIV

 

REFRESHING FOR THE DAY:

For one to begin his day without acknowledging the presence of God is certainly unacceptable, and can expose one to danger and satanic attacks. 

 

Prayers said early in the morning has the power and ability to avert any wicked plans against you on that day. It can refresh and recharge your soul. It will help you to stay connected with your goals each day. Commanding your day with prayers can give you the power to rule over your day.

 

As Christians, no matter how important our jobs are, we should make it a point of duty to command our days and commit them to God in prayers. This simple act will help you to achieve good things. Stay Lifted!

 

NOTE THIS:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Make a decision to always start your day moving in the right direction.

 

PRAYER:

O LORD, thank you for your word today. Give me the grace to set my morning right, in Jesus name, Amen! (Go ahead and continue to pray)

 

PROPHETIC WORD:

As you go out every morning, may the Spirit of God go with you, in the name of Jesus, Amen.
