NEVER LOSE SIGHT OF GOD
TIMES OF REFRESHING ONLINE DAILY DEVOTIONAL www.thefountspring.org
DATE: SUNDAY, 2 OCTOBER 2022
Sometimes, in life, we allow the zeal ‘to have and gain it all’ blinds our sense of spiritual responsibility, and we wander off the radar of God. But the truth of the matter is, we’re of God and we belong to Him (Psm 100:3). He is our rod and our staff (Psm 23:4). Everything we are and have, is of God. The breath we take, the strength, the grace to grow and do anything, all come from Him. So, it becomes a life-threatening joke for one to wander off the radar of God and His supervision and think life would be normal. No, it’s a risk, both to his life and to the service to the Kingdom. Any wonder Jesus declared in Luke 9:62,
SCRIPTURE: “No one who puts his hand to the plow and looks back is fit for the kingdom of God.” (Luke 9:62 ESV)
REFRESHING FOR THE DAY: The worst thing the enemy would do to a man is to deceive him and make him lose sight of God. So, beloved, I counsel you, don’t lose sight of God, remain in Him and strongly hold unto Him (Jn 15:4). Believe in Words and hold unto His promises (1 Thess 2:13). And you shall overcome. Amen! Stay Refreshed!
NOTE THIS: The current flow of our life, our health, strength, welfare, and its spiritual wellbeing is connected to God, So, if we abandon God, we will suffocate.
RESPONSIBILITY: So, go to God in prayer; Ask Him to help your life, not to lose sight of Him.
PRAYER: O LORD, help my life and cause me never to lose sight of You, in Jesus’ Amen! (Go ahead and pray for other intentions as the Spirit leads)
PROPHETIC WORD: As you look unto God, may the Lord never abandon you, in the name of Jesus’ Amen!
BIBLE TEXTS: Luke 9:62, Psm 23:4, 100:3, 1 Thess 2:13
