GOD, WHY IS THIS HAPPENING?

TIMES OF REFRESHING ONLINE DAILY DEVOTIONAL www.thefountspring.org

DATE: SATURDAY, 26 JUNE 2021

Sometimes in life, we all go through things that don’t make sense. Just at the threshold of breaking forth, the worst begin to happen; all of a sudden business went down, no money, friends begin to walk away, children can’t go to school, dreams are put on hold. When all of these and many others are happening, it’s easy to live frustrated and ask “God, why is this happening”? But we’re not going to understand everything that happens. God’s ways are not our ways (Isa 55:8), God can see things that we can’t see.

SCRIPTURE: For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,” declares the Lord. (Isaiah 55:8) NIV

REFRESHING FOR THE DAY: Just because it’s not fair doesn’t mean that God is not aware of it. Beloved, you didn’t do anything wrong, you were faithfully applying the right business keys and principles, but still your business went down. Though it hurts, all you could see is disappointment, but what you couldn’t see is; God was growing you, developing you and getting you stronger. He’s realigning your focus to a greater dimension of business ideas.

What you thought was a breakthrough would not be compared to what God has in store for you. He’s launching you into abundance, and you’ll get your children back to school. You don’t have to worry about friends that walked away, God moved them out of the way so He could bring someone better, that sees same vision with you.

So in conclusion, here is my counsel to you, when things that don’t make sense are happening to you; don’t feel disappointed, but in humility say “God I don’t understand this, but I trust you’re in control”. Stay Lifted!

NOTE THIS: Just because it’s not fair doesn’t mean that God is not aware of it.

RESPONSIBILITY: Trust God even when things don’t make sense to you.

PRAYER: O LORD, I’m sorry for the times I thought You have abandoned me, teach me to always trust in You, in the name of Jesus’ Amen! (Go ahead and continue to pray)

PROPHETIC WORD: As you trust in God, may He fulfil your heart desires, in the name of Jesus, Amen.

BIBLE TEXTS: Isaiah 55:8-9
