There’s no doubt, we live in a world and society filled with chaos and uncertainty, challenges, injustices, and brokenness. So, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed and think that our little efforts won’t make a significant difference. However, beloved, I want to share with you the powerful truth that you can be the difference maker. You see, each of us has unique gifts, talents, and passions that, when used for good, can bring about positive change. Thus, the Bible says in Romans 12:6-8,
SCRIPTURE: We have different gifts, according to the grace given to each of us. If your gift is prophesying, then prophesy in accordance with your faith; if it is serving, then serve; if it is teaching, then teach; if it is to encourage, then give encouragement; if it is giving, then give generously; if it is to lead, do it diligently; if it is to show mercy, do it cheerfully. (Rom 12:6-8 NIV)
REFRESHING FOR THE DAY: So, dearly beloved, you have the power to make a difference (Matt 5:14-16). Power to make a difference in your life, in your family, community and the society at large. Don’t just wait for others to step up; be the one who initiates transformation. Whether it’s a kind word, a helping hand, or a bold act of compassion, embrace the opportunity to make a difference. No matter how small you feel your actions may be, it can ripple outward and inspire others. Stay Refreshed!
NOTE THIS: You have the power to be the catalyst of change, the voice of hope, and the embodiment of love in a world that desperately needs difference makers.
RESPONSIBILITY: So, today, choose to be a difference maker, and together, let’s create a world where love, kindness, and impact prevail.
PRAYER: O LORD, help my life. Give me the grace to become a difference maker in life, in Jesus’ name, Amen!
PROPHETIC WORD: As you seek to become a difference maker and a helper to others, may the Lord be your help in the time of trouble, in the name of Jesus’ Amen!
