THE SECRETS TO ACCESSING THE HEART OF GOD (3)

Seeking to access the heart of God is a serious endeavor, as accessing Him, will transform our entire life for good. The truth of the matter is, the more we learn and access the heart of God, the more we will long for Him and declare with the psalmist, “As the deer longs for streams of water, so I long for you, O God” (Psm 42:1). So, another secret to accessing the heart of God is by believing wholly and surrendering completely to the powers and the person of our Lord and Master Jesus Christ. Any wonder in John 14:6, Jesus said,
SCRIPTURE: …“I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. (John 14:6 NIV)
REFRESHING FOR THE DAY: No one can truly know the heart of God without knowing and trusting in Jesus for salvation. Jesus Christ revealed the Father, for “He is the image of the invisible God” (Col 1:15). Anyone who has seen Jesus has seen the Father (Jn 14:9). It’s true. Since Jesus and the Father are one, Christ visually represents the heart of God, the essence of who He is (Jn10:30). And in Christ was life, and that life was the light of men, to access the heart of God (Jn 1:4). Stay Refreshed!
NOTE THIS: The heart of God is the essence of who He is, what He desires, His will, and His purposes. And to know God and have access to His heart, Jesus Christ is the answer.
RESPONSIBILITY: You can never have access to the heart of a total stranger. So, for you to know God and have access to His heart, you must grow to know more about Jesus Christ, and develop a quality relationship with Him.
PRAYER: O LORD JESUS, I come to you today, seeking to know You more; grant me access to the heart of the Father, in the name of Jesus’ Amen! (Go ahead and pray for other intentions as the Spirit leads)
PROPHETIC WORD: As you seek and find the Lord, may you have access to the heart of God, and may your joy be complete, in the name of Jesus’ Amen!
