THE CRY FOR REVIVAL: BIRTHING A MOVE OF GOD (3)

Times Of Refreshing Daily Devotional

Date: Friday, 14 March 2025

Focus: The Power of Prayer in Revival

Message:

Revival doesn’t come by accident—it comes through hunger, sacrifice, and prayer. Every move of God in history was birthed by men and women who refused to settle for a lukewarm existence. This devotional series will ignite a hunger for revival in your life and stir you to cry out for God to move in your generation.

Key Verse:

📖 Habakkuk 3:2 – “Lord, I have heard of your fame… Renew them in our day!”

Every revival in history has been birthed, sustained, and fueled by prayer. God moves when His people pray with hunger, desperation, and faith. Prayer is not an option—it is the lifeline of revival. The early church devoted themselves to prayer, and the Holy Spirit fell (Acts 2:1-4). Elijah prayed fervently, and fire fell from heaven (1 Kings 18:36-38). Daniel’s prayers shifted an entire kingdom (Daniel 6:10, 22). Beloved, will you be part of the remnant that prays until revival comes?

Scripture Reading:

📖 2 Chronicles 7:14 – “If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven.”

Refreshing for the Day:

If we long for a fresh move of God, we must return to the place of deep, unrelenting intercession. Revival is not sustained by good preaching or emotional experiences—it is sustained by believers who will stay on their knees until heaven invades earth. So, don’t just pray casually—pray with urgency! Revival comes when people refuse to let go of God until He moves. Stay Refreshed!

Note This:

Revival is not about wishful thinking—it is about relentless prayer!

Responsibility:

  1. Dedicate at least 30 minutes today to intercede for revival in your life and community.
  2. Find at least one other person and pray together for revival to break out.
  3. Ask God to ignite an unquenchable fire in your prayer life.

Prayer:

Lord, I refuse to be a passive Christian. Set me on fire in prayer! Give me a hunger to intercede, a passion to seek You, and a burden for revival. Let my prayers shake the heavens and birth a mighty move of God! In Jesus’ name, Amen!

Prophetic Declaration:

I am a revival intercessor! My prayers are powerful, my faith is unshakable, and revival is coming because I refuse to stop praying! In Jesus’ name, Amen!

Bible Texts:

Habakkuk 3:2, Psalm 42:1, 2 Chr 7:14
