Yet again, beloved, amongst the many blessings of obedience is that “It fosters spiritual growth.” Yes, it’s true. In fact, obedience is a catalyst for spiritual growth. As we obey God’s commands, we grow in faith, wisdom, and understanding. Our character is refined, and we become more Christ-like in our actions and attitudes. It deepens our relationship with God and increases our understanding of God’s Word. Any wonder, the Psalmist declared in Psalm 119:100,

REFRESHING FOR THE DAY: Obedience is a sign of one’s commitment to God and a desire to draw nearer to Him. As we obey God’s commands and seek His will, our relationship with Him deepens. This closeness with the Divine leads to spiritual growth as we come to know God more intimately, (John 14:15). It also involves a careful study and application of God’s Word. As we strive to obey God’s teachings, we gain a deeper understanding of the scriptures. And this understanding is essential for spiritual growth, as it equips us with the knowledge to navigate life’s challenges and make wise choices. Stay Refreshed!
NOTE THIS: Obedience is a catalyst for spiritual growth because it is a process of aligning one’s life with God’s divine plan and purpose.
RESPONSIBILITY: So, beloved, as we obediently follow God’s commands, we experience a profound transformation in our relationship with God, our understanding of His Word, our character, and our purpose in life.
PRAYER: O GOD, as we keep obeying Your commands and following Your guidance, may it deepen our relationship with You and increases our understanding of Your Word, in the name of Jesus’ Amen!
PROPHETIC WORD: And may we grow spiritually, in all developments, in the name of Jesus’ Amen!
