SEEKING THE FACE OF GOD

Beloved, I want to share with you today about “Seeking the face of God.” There are wonderful and incredible graces and blessings of God we attract and contract when we genuinely seek the face of God (Psalm 119:2). Similarly, there are versions of God’s unlimited favor a person who doesn’t seek the face of God will never access in life. Yes, these are so true. So then, how do we seek the face of God? When we approach God in prayers, we are seeking His face. When we seek the face of God, we are seeking His presence (Psalm 105:4). Seeking the face of God is same as developing an intimate relationship with Him. Any wonder David understood this principle? And he declared in Psalm 63:1,
SCRIPTURE: O God, you are my God; earnestly I seek you; my soul thirsts for you; my flesh faints for you, as in a dry and weary land where there is no water. (Psalm 63:1 ESV)
REFRESHING FOR THE DAY: God wants to be sought out (Jer 29:13), and He is also eager to reveal Himself to those who love and would seek Him. So, as we cultivate and honor this relationship, seeking the face of God becomes easier and easier. Stay Refreshed!
NOTE THIS: When we seek the face of God unreservedly, God shows Himself and bless us immensely.
RESPONSIBILITY: So, dearly beloved, let’s us learn to seek God’s face daily in our lives.
PRAYER: O LORD, give me the grace to always seek Your face daily in my life, in Jesus’ name, Amen!
PROPHETIC WORD: As you seek the face of God in your life, may you find Him. And may the Lord bless you abundantly, in the name of Jesus’ Amen!
