SEEKING THE FACE OF GOD (3)
TIMES OF REFRESHING ONLINE DAILY DEVOTIONAL www.thefountspring.org
DATE: SATURDAY, 24 JUNE 2023
Yet again, seeking the face of God is actively pursuing a closer relationship with God. It involves spending intentional time in prayer, worship, and studying His Word (Acts 6:4). So, one major significance of seeking the face of God and the transformative power it holds is for direction and proper guidance (Psalm 32:8). One of the reasons many people are confused in life is because they don’t seek the face of God. The absent of God in a person’s life is the evident of depression and misery. When a man avoids the presence of God in his life, he invites calamity. But the Bible says in Isaiah 58:11, when you seek the face of God,
SCRIPTURE: The LORD will guide you continually, giving you water when you are dry and restoring your strength. You will be like a well-watered garden, like an ever-flowing spring. (Isaiah 58:11 NLT)
REFRESHING FOR THE DAY: So, beloved, hear this, there are certain things God will never tell you when you’re in the public. Those things can only be revealed to you at the place of prayer while you seek the face of God. You don’t seek the face of God in the open. You seek the face of God in the secret, at the place of prayer. Stay Refreshed!
NOTE THIS: Extraordinary revelations and incredible insights are received when we seek the face of God at the place of prayer.
RESPONSIBILITY: So again, dearly beloved, let’s us learn to seek God’s face daily in our lives.
PRAYER: O LORD, help my life in this matter and teach me how to seek Your face always in my life, in Jesus’ name, Amen!
PROPHETIC WORD: As you seek the face of God in your life, may the Lord restore your strength and guide you in all your ways, in the name of Jesus’ Amen!
BIBLE TEXTS: Isaiah 58:11, Psalm 32:8, Acts 6:4
