Beloved, another fulfilling truth and a rare fact you must know to make the best out of your life is “Being true to who you are”. You see, one of the most regrettable reasons why people have remained spectators in life, and not making valid impact in it is because they are not being true to who they are. Being true to who you are simply means being yourself, expressing and representing what you have got –- your talents and potentials, and meaningfully contributing to life. But when you fail to be true to who you are, you become fake to who others are.

SCRIPTURE: But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light. (1 Peter 2:9 ESV)

REFRESHING FOR THE DAY: Again, when you fail to be true to who you are, you become to others what they make of you. You become a pawn in their hands, and at that complexity would set in, you would begin to lose the taste of life. You would complain and murmur about everything. But when you learn to be true to who you are, you begin to manifest the original version of whom God has created you to be. You are committed to your growth, making effective input in life. You don’t live to please others, rather you live to make a mark. Stay Refreshed!

NOTE THIS: When you fail to be true to who you are, you become fake to who others are.

RESPONSIBILITY: So, ask God to help you and give you the grace to always be true to who He has created you to be.

PRAYER: O LORD, help my life. Give me to always be true to who you have created me to be, in the name of Jesus’ Amen! (Go ahead and pray for other intentions as the Spirit leads)

PROPHETIC WORD: May the grace of God always and continually be with you even as you seek to be true to who you are, in the name of Jesus’ Amen!
