TOPIC: LIVING THE MOST SATISFYING LIFE (2)
So, beloved, the Christian life is the most satisfying life. Though, it may come with its own share of challenges, but in them all, the gains are abundant. There’s no other way or style of living that would give a person a sincere satisfaction. If there’s any way or style, why would king Solomon of Israel with all his wealth and affluence, his 700 wives and 300 concubines scattered all over the country and beyond at that time, didn’t give him the utmost satisfaction (1 Kings 11:3)? At least, that was a true testament to a hopeless living. And would shape and attune our mindset to the fact that every other way or style of living apart from the Christian life is vanity (Eccl 2:1). And this kind of living can only be found in Christ Jesus, and the Bible also testified to it in John 1:4,
SCRIPTURE: In Him was life [and the power to bestow life], and the life was the Light of men. (John 1:4 AMP)
REFRESHING FOR THE DAY: Another evidence and a testament to the Christian life as the most satisfying life is found in John 4. With the Samaritan woman, who had married five different husbands, and yet she had no peace in her. She was seeking for true fulfilment and sincere satisfaction until she met Christ, and her life never remained the same again. So, once again, we’re encouraged to live the Christian life, the most satisfying life, which is found in Christ Jesus. Stay Refreshed!
NOTE THIS: Every other life a man lives, if not the life in Christ, is vanity.
RESPONSIBILITY: So, beloved, seek to live the true Christian life, the most satisfying life.
PRAYER: Oh Lord, give me the grace to live a good Christian life, in Jesus’s name, Amen!
PROPHETIC WORD: As you seek to live a good Christian life, may the Lord bless you and establish you in abundance, in Jesus’ name, Amen.
