It was said life is 10% what happens to you and 90% how you respond. Yes, it’s true. But more often than not, we are frustrated because we’re trying to control the 10%. We’re not going to be happy unless everything goes our way, and everybody treats us right. But then, that’s the wrong approach to life.
SCRIPTURE: His divine power has given us everything we need for a godly life through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness. (2 Peter 1:3) NIV
REFRESHING FOR THE DAY: Beloved the truth of the matter is, everything must not go our way. There will always be something that can sour our day, and if we’re going to live in victory, we have to have the right approach to life. And the right approach to life and the secret of living in victory is, ‘we can’t control everything that happens to us, but we can ONLY control how we respond to it.’
So, the key to live in victory is, develop the right attitude and approach to life. Every morning of the day when you woke up, pray and commit your day to God, reassure yourself you must live in victory today. And before you go out, always make allowance for every excess, know it that something you can’t control will definitely happen to you, prepare and decide it ahead of time. So, when they happen, they won’t take you by surprise. Stay Lifted!
NOTE THIS: You can’t control everything that happens to you, but you can ONLY control how you respond to it.
RESPONSIBILITY: If you must live in victory, don’t allow what you can’t control sour your life.
PRAYER: O LORD, give me the grace to always live in victory, in the name of Jesus’ Amen! (Go ahead and continue to pray)
PROPHETIC WORD: As our Lord Jesus had victory over sin and death, I speak victory into you right now, RECEIVE IT, in the name of Jesus’ Amen!
